Guts and Glory Review

Guts and Glory is a racing game that focuses less on speed and more on obstacles. While there is a timer, you aren’t racing against anyone, so you are free to play at your own pace. Instead, your biggest competition is the course itself.

Guts and Glory features a wide variety of hazards, including cannons, land mines, autonomous cars, and saw blades. You are intended to die often, as most of the fun comes from losing in funny ways rather than winning due to practice and skill. It’s fun to play with friends, just watching each other try to beat some of the more challenging courses. Community tracks add to the already extensive list of courses you can play. Because of how over-the-top the game is, the fair amount of bugs in the game add a fun goofiness to the game, rather than making the game frustrating to play. If I could change anything about the game, I would just want more levels to play, but as it stands now, the game has plenty of content for the price. Great game for when you want some casual fun.
