Gravitas is a short and sweet puzzle game that is clearly inspired by Portal, but doesn’t feel derivative. Some of the humor is lackluster compared to Portal, but this is also a low budget indie title, not a AAA studio release. Graphically, the game looks good for a puzzle game. There aren’t many puzzles, but most of them offer a decent amount of challenge, while still explaining new mechanics well. It took me about 45 minutes to beat the game. Given that it’s free, an hour of playtime is about right. Gravitas seems more like a large demo than a full game, but it does a good job showing off the types of puzzles they can come up with. Overall, a solid free puzzle game that would work well as a paid game if they made more levels.
