Duck Game is a fantastic 2D shooter thanks to it’s fast paced combat, great level design and unique weapons. It plays best with few friends, but can also be played in online multiplayer.
Map-wise, Duck Game has a wide variety of themes. Some are straightforward fighting maps with either cramped interior spaces or wide open exterior areas. Some maps are intended for a specific gimmick or style of play, such as the map with only fire extinguishers and flame based weaponry. Some maps are even meant as joke maps, intended to have some sort of goofy outcome, regardless of if it feels “fair”. This, combined with the large amount of maps available on the steam workshop, helps the game ever becoming stale.
There are a huge variety of weapons that make every round feel different and unique. Mods also add new weapons, allowing for an absurd amount of variety. Overall, an amazing game with near endless replayability.
